Rien que sa robe rouge foncé profonde en donne envie dans l’instant, tout comme le bouquet séduisant légèrement floral composé d’arômes de cerise, de mûre, de fines herbes et d’épices. En bouche, le 'Three Valleys' est juteux, puissant et long, doté de saveurs de fruits sombres et rouges, d’épices, de fines herbes et d’un soupçon de tabac. Les tanins sont soyeux, l’acidité est harmonieuse et la longue finale est fraîche et bien corsée.

It is a departure for Ridge, as it's not a single vineyard wine but instead a blend of 10 different sites from throughout Sonoma County. Bright and delightful with savoury herbs, tart early-season blackberries, and muddled mint leaves, all vie for attention in this wine's generous aromatic show. A melange of wild mountain berries, mouthfuls of dried savoury garrigue and lavender, dashes of white pepper and an incredible lift to the finish which lingers for an eternity. Concentrated and refined.

A blend of 65% Zinfandel, 16% Carignane and 14% Petite Sirah, the 2022 Three Valleys is super-welcoming and disarming from the get-go. A superb introduction to the Ridge house style, it balances the savory and the fruity—tobacco, cedar, dark berry fruit and loads of spice, all hemmed in by fresh acidity and insistent but yielding tannins. It’s hard to go wrong here.

Les cépages rouges mataro, carignan, petite sirah et zinfandel se marient dans cette cuvée et offrent une dégustation inoubliable ! Le 'Three Valleys' est le vin d’entrée de gamme du prestigieux domaine californien Ridge Vineyards et en quelque sorte sa carte de visite. Nous y reconnaissons d’emblée les rigoureux critères de qualité, la minutie et le savoir-faire de la maison. Les raisins sont vendangés à la main et le vin est élevé après la fermentation majoritairement en fûts de bois déjà utilisés.
