Note de dégustation
Le Brunello di Montalcino se présente dans le verre avec une robe rouge rubis profonde. Au nez, il dévoile un bouquet enchanteur de prunes mûres et de fruits rouges, accompagné d’une subtile touche épicée. En bouche, il se montre corsé et élégant, avec des tanins bien intégrés et une structure remarquable. Les notes fruitées se poursuivent et se fondent harmonieusement avec une note minérale légère mais perceptible, qui donne une dimension supplémentaire à ce vin. La finale est persistante et durable.

A special 3,200-bottle release culled from a selection of Sangiovese from their Pian Bossolino and Poggio al Sole plots, the La Fiorita 2015 Brunello di Montalcino Fiore di No is a very convincing wine that offers much more depth and complexity than the estate's classic Brunello. The wine opens to dark fruit, spice and camphor ash and then shows a very complete, wide-brush-stroke approach to the grape. You get the dark primary fruit, the depth and the length on the mouthfeel.

The cherry, black-olive and dried-strawberry aromas are so attractive. Hints of cinnamon and licorice. Full-bodied, round and rich with lots of fruit and velvety tannins. Extremely flavorful and rich. Drink after 2022.

Deep red. Captivating aromas of red cherry, strawberry, sweet pipe tobacco, and flint. Impressively built, multifaceted and layered, this boasts very pure and round flavors similar to the aromas. The finish is long and dense, and features polished tannins and a suave texture. Knockout Brunello, probably the best I have had from La Fiorita in a very long time, and likely ever. Noticeably less floral than the 2015 classico Brunello from this estate but more complex and much deeper. Made with grapes taken from the best part of the Pian Bossolino and Poggio al Sole vineyards. The NO on the label stands for Natalie Oliveros, the estate owner; a real knockout, this wine is only made in the best vintages.

Vinification
Les raisins sont soigneusement récoltés à la main et proviennent de trois vignobles différents : Pian Bossolino (360 m), Giardinello (360 m) et Collesorbo (220 m). Après la récolte, le vin subit un long vieillissement de 36 mois dans des fûts en bois, suivi de quatre mois supplémentaires dans du béton, avant d’être mis en bouteille. Cette lente maturation permet au vin de développer sa complexité et sa profondeur caractéristiques.
