La famille Meffre possède un domaine important au cœur du Vaucluse, dans la Vallée du Rhône méridionale. Elle a également acheté dans les années 1960 le Château du Glana, entre-temps très célèbre, puis, plus tard, le Château Plantey, qui semble promis au même succès.

I like the purity of fruit here with blackcurrants, fresh blueberries, mulberries, sweet basil and licorice on the nose. Medium-bodied, with firm, tight and slightly grainy tannins. Youthful and fresh.

Big bold, fresh and elegant. Gorgeous succulence with supple, ripe tannins and a cool blueberry, minty, slate edge. Really quite round on the palate with a wide frame and persistence. Lovely Pauillac sculpting and excellent alcohol at 13.5%. There's a classic touch to this and it feels well worked and refined. Not complex, but it has lovely detail, push, presence in the mouth and juiciness. There won't be many 12 euros Pauillac you can find, but this one ticks all the boxes for its price. Buy, drink and enjoy its youthful strength. 27ha vineyard with an average age of 25 years.

Almost black! Firm, ripe cassis fruit. Very well-managed tannins. Rather sophisticated and extremely refreshing.
